Kent received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Management from Marshall University. He started his career in the Telecom Industry at Cincinnati Bell Long Distance (CBLD). He then moved on to a position with UniDial Communications, later reorganized as Lightyear Communications, where he earned “President’s Club” honors every year. Having experience in Long Distance and Data he decided to network and partner with top representatives at Interconnects, CLECs, and Software vendors to offer advice on total solutions for customers. “I would look at customers’ bills and know of carriers that could save them money, provide better service, and enhance their Telecom applications.” By building a reputation for knowing the products of many carriers, and building a strong network of representatives that would in turn introduce long distance and data opportunities; Kent became one of Lightyear’s top producing representatives and agents for the State of Kentucky and West Virginia. His achievements include developing a wholesale long-distance package exclusively for Fibernet Communications (CLEC) and multi-state data applications for Fortune 1000 companies. Working with customers large and small it became clear that knowledge and access to the products of at least 10 providers are needed to pick the best ones for each customer. This along with clients’ requests for a single point of contact became the basis of what is now the Method One Communications’ Concept. Kent has assembled a portfolio of the best products by making Method One Communications authorized agents of carriers and selected resellers with proven track records. Kent continues to work with our carriers to ensure Method One Communications clients receive the most up-to-date products at highly competitive rates.

Argyle has a 30+ year track record of success as Vice-President of Kelley’s Men Shop, West Virginia’s largest men’s apparel retailer. He has built and managed small businesses including a restaurant and clothing retailer from the ground up. Argyle has won many awards and honors including the Southern Clothiers Association Retailer of the Year, and currently sits or has sat on the board of Directors for Goodwill Industries, Junior Achievement, Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Charleston Regional Chamber of Commerce. Argyle brings to Method One Communications his experience in building successful organizations, public relations, and customer retention. Using systems proven in the retail environment has helped Method One Communications build a successful Agency/Broker program in the Telecom Industry.
Ron Hahn, Operations Manager- RHahn@method1.net
Ron has had a career in telecommunications that spans forty plus years. This has given him an opportunity to experience operations processes from basic telephone installation to central office conversations from electromechanical to ESS and numerous assignments as a supervisor/ manager of work groups of one employee to fifty employees. A majority of the time was spent with Bell System and encompassed a diverse number of job assignments. He was acknowledged as being a Subject Matter Experts (SME) for many Operations initiatives. Ron was one of the earliest members on the executive team at FiberNet.LLC (a West Virginia Base company) He was with them for eight plus years. Ron’s varied background and numerous contacts within the industry positively augments the Method 1 customer commitment to service and excellence.

Patty has been involved with the telecom business for over seven years, working with agents, carriers, and sales personnel. She started her career as Commission Analyst For FiberNet LLC. Working closely with all levels of sales personnel has given Patty a greater understanding of the telecommunications industry. Patty’s care and diligence in dealing with the private and public sector have proven to be a valued asset to Method One Communications. Having developed good working relationships within the telecommunications business enables Patty in assisting our customers with any questions or concerns and helps find immediate resolution of any issues that may occur.
